Arrigo Sacchi admits he did not expect Inter's feat

Arrigo Sacchi commented on Inter’s feat in Gazzetta dello Sport: “Pure soccer. Beautiful match, very tight. Like the first leg, after all. I liked the Nerazzurri so much in the first half. They took advantage of Barcelona’s defensive inattentions and punished it. Then, and it was logical to expect it, there was a decline”.

“I am honest, I saw them very tired. They couldn”t get going again, they were crushed back there and seemed to have no energy to respond”.

“Acerbi? Simply magnificent. An action built with nerves, with the force of desperation. But we Italians are great when the moment is difficult.
