Inter in final, big protests in Barcelona against referee Marciniak

While Inter is celebrating its historic feat worth qualifying for the Champions League final, in Spain and particularly in Barcelona, the time for controversy has already started.
In the crosshairs of Catalan newspapers and in particular Sport has ended up the referee: “Marciniak puts an end to the dream of a heroic Barcelona. A bad performance by the Polish referee and an’Inter epic left Flick”s team with no end in sight.
Barcelona post-match coach Hansi Flick also vented: “Some 50-50 decisions all went in Inter’s favor, but that’s how it happened and I don’t want to talk about it too much. It wouldn’t be fair to my team, because they played a very good game. I don’t want to talk about the referee, I told him what I had to tell him”.
“I am disappointed, but not with my team – he said in the conference-. They gave everything and I am proud of them. We are out, but next year we will try again to make the fans happy. The boys played an’excellent game”.
