Not even time to celebrate the passage of the round that for Catania is already time to return to the field. Tonight, at the Stadio Massimino, the Rossazzurri face Potenza in the second round of the Play-Off round, in an inside or outside challenge that is worth access to the national draw. Ten days after the last intersection, the two teams once again come face to face. In fact, the last precedent dates back to the last day of the championship, when at the Viviani it was Catania to impose 2-1 thanks to the decisive goal of Inglese in the 90th, the same striker who then gave the victory in the first round of the play-off against Giugliano.

The play-off regulations smile on the home team, which again today will be able to count on two results out of three at its disposal: victory or draw would mean passage to the round. Potenza, on the other hand, has only one useful result: victory. A precedent that weighs that of the first leg, given Potenza’s victory.

The anti-Potenza Catania should once again be 3-4-2-1 with Dini in goal, Allegretto, Ierardi and Di Gennaro the three defenders. Anastasio and Raimo to push on the outside lanes. De Rose and Di Tacchio will be the two in midfield. Stoppa and Jimenez will support Inglese’s only point.

4-3-3 for Potenza with Alastra in goal, four-man defense composed of Riggio and Burgio at full-back, Bachini and Verrengia will most likely be the two center-backs. In midfield there will be Castorani, Erradi and one between Felippe and Siatounis. Forwards, there is a runoff between Schimmenti and Rosafio, certain of the place instead Caturano in the center of the attack with Petrungaro ready to act alongside him.
