Trento expels Civitanova in game-4 and wins its sixth Scudetto

Econquering the Eurosuole Forum at the tie-break, Itas Trentino won the Italian men’s Superleague title by beating Lube Civitanova in game-4 of the scudetto finals and winning the series 3-1.

Evening’s match, as mentioned, ended 3-2 for Trento, which is Italian champion for the sixth time in its history and had won the last one two years ago also against Marche, that time in five games.

21-25 26-28 25-17 20-25 15-9 were the set partials in favor of Itas, which could count on 22 points from Alessandro Michieletto, 13 from Daniele Lavia and 12 from Kamil Rychlocki. In Civitanova’s ranks, 23 points from Aleksandar Nikolov and 19 from Mattia Bottolo.

As we said, for Trentino Volleyball, founded in 2000, this is the sixth scudetto: the others came in 2007-2008, 2010-2011, 2012-2013, 2014-2015 and finally 2022-2023 before tonight’s rionfo.
