Europa League, all easy for Manchester United and Tottenham: it will be all-English final in Bilbao

It will be an all-English final in the Europa League. After their successes in the’first leg, in fact, Manchester United and Tottenham repeated themselves in the return leg by folding Athletic Bilbao and Bodo Glimt, respectively.

At Old Trafford, the Spaniards found the goal that reopened their qualification hopes on 31′ with Jauregizar. In the second half, however, the Red Devils came out, who also took advantage of Valverde’s offensive changes to first equalize the score, then ramp it up in the final.

In fact, at 72′ United found the equalizing goal with Mount with a precise shot on the turn. Seven minutes later, came the safety net with Casemiro, who deflected Bruno Fernandes’ free kick, thus mocking Agirrezabala. Finally, Hojlund at 85′ and Mount again in the middle of the recovery made the score even heavier.

At Aspmyra Stadion, on the other hand, Spurs regulated hosts Bodo Glimt in six minutes. On 63′ came Solanke’s goal on the development of a corner, while on 69′ it was Pedro Porro who put the exclamation mark on the Englishmen’s qualification thanks to a cross-shot that slotted into the goal.

The Spurs were able to win the title.
