Fabio Fognini and Mattia Bellucci eliminated on'debut at Internazionali d'Italia

The adventure of Fabio Fognini at the Internazionali d’Italia ends in the first round. The Ligurian tennis player, in fact, was defeated by Britain&#8217s Jacob Fearnley with a score of 6-2 6-3, after an hour and twenty minutes of play.

The first set began in the best of ways for the Italian, who found the break in the opening set. The joy for the San Remo native, however, lasts very little, as the Briton takes the upper hand and with a partial six games to zero, makes the set his own 6-2.

The second set follows the same pattern.

The second set follows the same score as the first: Fognini starts well, winning three of the first four games. When it came time to stretch, however, the Italian failed to be incisive enough, and Fearnley took advantage to overturn and close out the match thanks to a 5-0 counter-partial that paved the way for the next round.

Elimination at the debut also for Mattia Bellucci, who was defeated by Spaniard Pedro Martinez with a score of 6-4 6-2.

The match started on an uphill slope for the young Italian tennis player, who immediately slipped to 4-1 down. The 2001 class, however, manages to have a minimal reaction of pride by regaining one of the two breaks, but the Spaniard is good at managing the lead and closing the score at 6-4.

The Spaniard was able to manage the advantage and close the score at 6-4.

Without history, on the other hand, the second set, which was routed from the start by Martinez with a five-games-to-one lead. At that point, it is just a formality for the Iberian to close the score on 6-2.
