Lukaku invites De Bruyne to Naples but needs Conte’s confirmation

De Bruyne has reached the end of his long (and decidedly successful) adventure in the Manchester City shirt. At 33, he is ready to get back into the game elsewhere. There is talk of him landing in MLS (perhaps together with Pogba) but, in the last few hours, a really intriguing market rumor has been circulating.
Napoli is reportedly considering convincing De Bruyne to wear blue. He would have the chance to continue playing in Europe and, importantly, play in the Champions League again. In addition, there’s the Lukaku factor. The two are national teammates and, as a result, the’striker knows De Bruyne well. He could convince him to choose Naples.
A deal that could also help a lot in the negotiations to armor Conte. The coach, as is normal, aims to have important reinforcements for next season. To be able to count on one of the best midfielders of the last decade would be an important first step to get to the classic white smoke.
Clearly, it will also need a’financial offer to match De Bruyne although, in this case, the project seems to take precedence over everything. De Bruyne would be an incredible added value not only for Napoli but for the whole Serie A. First, however, he must be convinced, perhaps with the’help of Lukaku.
