Marc Marquez makes his priorities clear

Despite a start to the season peppered with eight victories in ten races, Marc Marquez has paid dearly for his two crashes in Austin and Jerez de la Frontera, as the two slips cost him the top spot in the riders’ world championship at the expense of his brother Alex. Speaking at the microphones of “Sky Sport MotoGp“, the Spanish centaur shed light on his priorities ahead of the upcoming race weekend at Le Mans.
“Le Mans is a good track, the weather here is very variable. There have always been good races, in 2024 we finished second. As happened in these first races, we come to France in good shape. We hope to be competitive but without making mistakes in the race that is the most important thing” debuted the Ducati centaur.
“We know why the crash happened in Jerez de la Frontera. It’s my mistake, I have to be more careful, but I also don’t have to reduce my speed since I feel very confident on the bike” added the number 93 rider.
In conclusion, Marc Marquez commented on the Barcelona elimination at the hands of the Inter in extra time in the Champions League semifinals: It’s a real shame because it was almost done, but on the last lap we lost the front”.
