Massimiliano Allegri’s future: all roads lead to Rome

Thanks to an imperial walk, Roma is in the midst of a race for a Champions League spot. Thanks, above all, to Claudio Ranieri. The coach, however, has already let it be known, rebelling on several occasions, that he will not remain at the helm of the Giallorossi club again next season.

For weeks there have been questions about who will be the new leader of Roma. In recent hours, rumors have become increasingly insistent that Max Allegri is one step away from reaching an agreement with the Giallorossi club. The former Juventus and Milan coach would, in fact, be Roma&#8217s first choice.

The Livorno-born coach is in Rome, officially to follow the Internazionali d’Italia and, in particular, world No. 1 Jannik Sinner. However, there is talk of a possible meeting with Dan Friedkin who, according to several rumors, is about to arrive in the capital precisely to meet with Max Allegri and see whether or not there are conditions to reach the classic white smoke.

Claudio Ranieri has always stressed that he hopes for a coach “of personality” for Roma. Max Allegri, from this point of view, is a guarantee. Clearly, it wouldn&#8217t be bad at all for the former Juventus and Milan coach to take a Roma side qualified for the next Champions League. Max Allegri could return to coach Paulo Dybala.
