Sebastian Vettel defends Lewis Hamilton to the hilt

In the course of an’interview given to the microphones of “Rtl”, the’former driver Sebastian Vettel, among other topics covered, bluntly analyzed the complicated start of the season of Lewis Hamilton in Ferrari.

“Lewis did not have a dream start, but I think he had a very realistic approach. Even if things are not going well at the moment, you can see that he knows how to handle his experience and his situation” began the’former Ferrari driver.

“I think at the moment Ferrari is not as strong as he and many others would like. You cannot always choose, but he has had many ups and downs. If anyone can make it, it&#8217s Hamilton. Of course I keep my fingers crossed for him, I have raced with him throughout my F1 career and that is why we are very close” added Sebastian Vettel.

Except for a win in the Japan Sprint and a podium finish in the Miami Sprint, Lewis Hamilton’s start to the season has fallen far short of expectations. In the race and in qualifying, in addition, the British driver has often been preceded by teammate Charles Leclerc.
