Donnarumma, still no renewal with PSG: many dream of him
With his miracles he was instrumental in bringing PSPG to the Champions League final. Hailed by his fans, he received compliments from all over the soccer world. Coach Luis Enrique has called him “fantastic” but, to date, his contract renewal with PSG has not yet been signed.
“I still have one year left on my contract, there’s time to talk about renewal and it’s the club’s choice, if they want me to stay I’ll stay, there’s only to sign. They know what I want”, these were the clear words of the national team goalkeeper in the post-match of the return match with Arsenal released to Prime Video.
In short, if it were up to Donnarumma, his future would definitely be at PSG. The ball is in the hands of owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi and the club’s market director Luis Campos. Not least because there are so many top clubs in the window, ready to step up should an agreement not be reached between Donnarumma and PSG.
The list is long and includes high-sounding names such as Manchester City, which, determined to revolutionize its roster, could step up in a major way for the Azzurri number one. A return to Italy cannot be ruled out either, even if, to put Donnarumma under contract, a decidedly important proposal is needed. Who knows, PSG might even wait until the Champions League final to make its decision. In the case of success of Luis Enrique’s team, it could come the’officiality of Donnarumma’s renewal.
