Marc Marquez also wins the Sprint Race of the French Grand Prix. At the French circuit of Le Mans, the Spanish rider makes it 6 for 6 in Saturday’s races, crossing the finish line ahead of brother Alex Marquez and Team Gresini’s Fermin Aldeguer, in a Ducati hat trick.

He has to settle for fourth place Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), who took pole position in the morning. Completing the top 5 is Maverick ViƱales (KTM Tech3), who took advantage of Pedro Acosta’s slide at the last corner of the last lap.

The last lap was a good one.

Sixth place for Johann Zarco (Honda LCR) ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) and Alex Rins (Yamaha). Last rider in the points is Joan Mir (Honda), who finishes ninth.

Day to forget, instead, for Pecco Bagnaia, who after a fairly anonymous qualifying, runs into a fall at the’beginning of the second lap that costs him the race and distances him more and more in the standings from his teammate Marc Marquez, in the lead with 2 points ahead of his brother and a good 31 on the Piedmontese.
