Monza’s pointless victory with Udinese

At the Bluenergy Stadium, already relegated Monza returned to victory, beating hosts Udinese 2-1 in the lunch match of the thirty-sixth day of Serie A.
The team’s first goal was a goal from the first half of the season.
First chance for Udinese and Kamara, who on 18 minutes misses the goal by a whisker. In the 27th minute Solet also tries, Pizzignacco saves on the dive and then the guest defense sends in a corner.

On 59′ Lucca, who entered in the second half, hits a header but Pizzignacco blocks. The ex-Pisa striker, however, equalizes in the 75th minute: Karlstrom steals the ball from Akpa Akpro, assists Lucca who scores with a right-footed volley.

In the 80th minute Pafundi’s corner, Ekkelenkamp’s header sends high. At 81′ Solet for Lucca, who comes close to doubling the score. The striker tries again in the 86th minute with the same outcome.

But in the 90th minute it is Monza that scores the winning goal: Zeroli crosses from the left for Keita Baldé who at the second post gives the Brianzoli the most useless 3 points in history after 15 games without a win and the last six lost.
