Douglas Luiz angers HCL fans, then comes an apology

This is not the first time that Douglas Luiz has ended up in the storm because of his social externals. After complaining about little employment, the Juventus midfielder is back in the news for another statement (again outside official club channels) that has left many Juventus fans stunned.

Live via Twitch, Douglas Luiz candidly stated that he feels nostalgia for the Premier League and, in particular, for Aston Villa, the club where he played for five seasons before moving to Turin last summer.

“I miss Aston Villa, guys. I miss playing at Villa Park, I miss everything, it&#8221s always in my heart” his words that, of course, did not please the Bianconeri’s environment at all. So many Juventus fans have ’invited him” to pack his bags and go back to where he came from. His disappointing performance on the field, coupled with many injuries, has not helped him leave a good impression among the people of the Old Lady.

The Brazilian made up for it with a new statement made to better specify what he meant: “I talked about Aston Villa as a happy place for me, I enjoyed being there and growing up at that club, but I never mentioned a return. Don&#8217t get me wrong. I love Juventus and I am focused on our goals“. I wonder if he will have been able to convince everyone.
