La Liga 2024-2025: Real Sociedad-Celta Vigo, the probable formations

Real Sociedad hosts Celta Vigo in the midweek round of La Liga. Kickoff at 8 p.m. at the Real Arena. The Basques must win to stay in the race for Europe, while the guests must defend seventh place from Rayo Vallecano, at -2.

Alguacil seems intent on changing almost the entire defense, with Traoré, Zubeldia and Aihen set to start, while only one between Aritz and Jon Martín should be confirmed. In midfield, Brais Méndez returns, alongside Zubimendi and one between Pablo Marín and Sucic. In attack, room for Sergio Gómez along with Oyarzabal and Kubo.

Giraldez has to contend with several absences in defense: Marcos Alonso is disqualified and Starfelt is in the box due to injury. Room is made for Rodriguez and Lago on either side of Dominguez. On the outsides Carreira on the right and Losada, ahead of Mingueza on the left. In attack, the Aspas-Iglesias-Gonzalez trident.
