A huge coup that could change the future of the franchise. Dallas won the NBA Lottery and, at the upcoming NBA Draft, will be able to pick first. After “giving up” Luka Doncic, the Mavs will be able to count on the new phenom of collegiate basketball, that is, Cooper Flagg.

This time luck definitely helped the Mavs. Dallas had only a 1.8% chance of winning the Lottery. Chances reduced but, in the end, Lady Luck gave a huge gift to the Texas franchise, which, now, looks to the future with great ambitions.

Cooper Flagg, billed as a surefire NBA star, will be chosen on the first call of the upcoming NBA Draft by Dallas and, as a result, will play alongside Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis. In fact, the Mavs will restart with an all-star trio that could bring a lot of satisfaction to fans, still disappointed by Luka Doncic’s farewell.

“I am really happy for the Dallas fans. This has been a tough year for them, now they deserve a day like this. Looking at our roster, I think we can really aim to do something extraordinary next year,” the words of Rick Welts, number one of the Mavs. Yes, the Lottery really gave Dallas a big hand.
