Not just playoffs: it’s reappointment time in Trieste for next season

Two weeks after the officialization of Francesco Nanni’s contract extension, Pallacanestro Trieste makes known a new confirmation at the bench level: the other assistant coach Francesco Taccetti, in fact, will also remain on the coaching staff next season. This was announced by the Julian club itself, through its web channels.
“I am thrilled to continue my path in Pallacanestro Trieste – commented coach Taccetti – In this first season already full of sporting and professional satisfactions, I have had the opportunity to appreciate a corporate environment that works every day to aim for excellence, in all its parts, in a context where human values and sharing are always at the basis of every decision”.
“I thank President Paul Matiasic and General Manager Michael Arcieri for the opportunity they gave me a year ago and renew today, with a commitment to contribute to the continued growth of the team and the company with all the passion and ambition I have for this job. Now, however, since I am a born competitor, and Trieste and our fans ask us to be so every day, head to the upcoming playoff series“.
As a newly promoted team, Pallacanestro Trieste finished the Serie A regular season in sixth place, earning a spot in the playoffs where it will face Germani Brescia in the first round. It will be played at the best of five games, with the first three already scheduled: game-1 and game-2 will be played in Brescia on May 17 at 8 p.m. and May 19 at 8:45 p.m., game-3 in Trieste on May 22 at 7:30 p.m. Also in Trieste will be played the eventual game-4, while the fifth and final challenge, if necessary, will take place at Germani’s home.
