Primavera, sports judge: sting for Riccardo Braschi and Candas Fiogbé

The expulsions that the two young players received during Lazio-Fiorentina and Atalanta-Cagliari, played last weekend and valid for the 18th day of the Primavera 1 championship, cost Riccardo Braschi of Fiorentina and Candas Fiogbé of Atalanta very dearly. The Giudice Sportivo (sports judge) in fact ordered a three-turn disqualification for both players.
Braschi, author among others of a goal on 5′, which turned out to be decisive in defeating the Biancoceleste youth team, was sent off in the second half “for having, on 27′ of the second half, hit with a fist to the chest a player of the opposing team” as stated in the note published by Lega Serie A on Tuesday.
Fiogbé, on the other hand, was sent off at the end of the match between Atalanta and Cagliari’s peers (won by the red and blue team with Sofiane Achour’s goal at 34′ of the second half), “for having, at 40′ of the second half, hit with an arm at the height of the chest a player of the opposing team”, as explained again by Lega Serie A in the note regarding the measures of the Sports Judge.
In contrast, another Fiorentina player, Lorenzo Romani, who was ejected from the bench by the match director, was disqualified for one day. One-round suspensions, in this case for added cautions, for Vernon Addo and Marco Delle Monache of Lecce, Matteo Barbini of Genoa, Alessandro Berretta and Niccolò Postiglione of Monza, Filipe Bordon and Ricardo Bordon of Lazio, Stefano Dalla Riva of Hellas Verona, Ussumane Djalo of Torino, Niccolò Gariani of Atalanta, Ernestas Gudelevicuis of Fiorentina, and Diego Ripani and Francesco Verde of Juventus.
The team was also given a one-day suspension.
