Serie A, dates and times 37th day: nine simultaneous matches

Nine out of 10 matches of the 37th day of Serie A will be played at the same time: with so many verdicts still to be decided and numerous entanglements in the various areas of the standings, only one match will be able to be played at another time, the one between Genoa, which is already safe, and Atalanta, which on Monday night clinched Champions League qualification.
The Grifone and Orobici will play each other at the ‘Ferraris’ on Saturday, May 17 at 8:45 p.m., while all other matches will be played on Sunday, May 18, again with kickoff at 8:45 p.m. These are the scheduled matches: Cagliari-Venezia, Fiorentina-Bologna, Hellas Verona-Como, Inter-Lazio, Juventus–Udinese, Lecce-Torino, Monza-Empoli, Parma-Napoli, Roma-Milan.
In the Scudetto zone, Napoli and Inter are only one point apart with 180′ to the end of the championship, while behind Atalanta are playing for the last useful place for the Champions Juventus, Lazio, Roma and Bologna, with Milan and Fiorentina still within the mathematical discourse and still fighting for Europa League and Conference League (the verdicts will also depend on the’outcome of the Italian Cup final between the Rossoneri and Felsina).
Already quiet Como, Torino, Udinese and Genoa, fighting to save themselves Cagliari, Hellas Verona, Parma, Venezia, Lecce and Empoli: two of these six will go down to Serie B at the end of the championship. Already relegated instead is Monza, which after three years in the top division returns to the cadetteria at the end of a bitter season.
