Coppa Italia 2024-2025: Milan-Bologna, the probable lineups

In the now usual setting of the Stadio Olimpico, Milan and Bologna will face each other on Wednesday, May 14 at 9 p.m. to win the Coppa Italia. In their last match, the Rossoneri beat Bologna 3-1 in the league last Friday. In the Coppa Italia semifinal, however, the Rossoneri got the better of Simone Inzaghi’s Inter Milan.
Bologna, as mentioned earlier, in its last outing lost away at the San Siro to Coincecao’s team. Bologna, 51 years later, dreams of winning the Coppa Italia again; the last time was in fact the 1973-1974 season.
Few lineup changes are scheduled at Milan, with the two key returns of Leao and Fofana. Conceicao will probably rely on the 3-4-2-1. In goal space for Maignan, while in defense the choice should again fall to Tomori, Pavlovic and Gabbia. On the outside midfield ready Jimenez and Theo Hernandez, in the middle of the field instead the usual Fofana and Reijnders. In front, space for Pulisic and Leao ready to give support to the only point: Jovic.
Milan (3-4-2-1): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlović; Jiménez, Fofana, Reijnders, Theo Hernández; Pulisic, Leão; Jović. Coach: Conceicao.
Bologna (4-2-3-1): Skorupski; De Silvestri, Beukema, Lucumi, Miranda; Freuler, Ferguson; Orsolini, Odgaard, Ndoye, Dallinga. Coach: Italiano.
