Bologna wins

Fifty-one years after the last time Bologna returns to win the Coppa Italia: at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome Milan beat Milan by a narrow margin.

Offering few emotions in the first half of the game and they are all concentrated in the first ten minutes, when both the Felsini and the meneghini have the opportunity to take the lead: Maignan saves on Castro, Skorupski does the same on Beukema, who comes close to an own goal, and then on Jovic.

Then, until the double whistle, almost nothing happens, with both teams mainly careful not to concede and looking for ball possession.

At the beginning of the second half, after eight minutes, Italiano’s team takes the lead: the credit goes to Ndoye, who after an attempt by Orsolini controls the ball well, avoids the Rossoneri defenders and gives Maignan no chance.

The result doesn’t change anymore: footballers and red and blue fans rejoice, disappointment among the Rossoneri, Jannik Sinner, in the stands to support the ‘Devil’, included.
