Indiana Pacers in conference finals, Oklahoma City Thunder one step away

Two NBA playoff challenges took place on the night, with the Cleveland Cavaliers hosting the Indiana Pacers while the Oklahoma City Thunder took on the Denver Nuggets.

The Cleveland Cavaliers hosted the Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder took on the Denver Nuggets.

The Indiana Pacers clinched entry into the Eastern Conference Finals for the second consecutive year, beating and then eliminating the Cleveland Cavaliers 114-105. Tyrese Haliburton top scorer for his team with with with 31 points, followed by Pascal Siakam with 21.

The 35 points of Donovan Mitchell, who returned to the court after injury, were useless.

The Oklahoma City Thunder, on the other hand, prevailed in game-5 against the Denver Nuggets 112-105, bringing them within one step of the Conference Finals, despite Nikola Jokić’s 44 points and 15 rebounds. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander decisive with 31 points and 7 assists.
