Quaini, headbutt that cost dearly. Eight disqualified in C Series playoffs

The sports judge has issued disciplinary measures after the first national round of the Serie C playoffs. There are eight footballers disqualified including as many as three from Vis Pesaro. Sting for Alessandro Quaini (Catania), stopped for four days. As for clubs, however, five clubs were sanctioned.

QUAINI ALESSANDRO (CATANIA): for having, at the end of the match, behaved violently towards an opposing player, in that, he hit him with a headbutt to the face, without causing him any consequences. Measure of the sanction in application of Articles 13, paragraph 2, and 38 C.G.S., evaluated the overall manner of the conduct, considering the nature of the gesture and taking into account, on the one hand, that there were no injurious consequences to the opponent and, on the other hand, the type of blow inflicted and the delicacy of the part of the opponent’s body affected by the blow (r. 1. in the 15th and 16th minutes of the first half, three smoke bombs on the field of play, thus delaying the resumption of play, for about a minute;
2. in the 33rd minute of the second half, a smoke bomb in the playing enclosure, without consequences.
