F1, Emilia-Romagna GP: McLaren one-two in first free practice

The Grand Prix dell’Emilia-Romagna opens in the sign of McLaren. On the track of Imola, in fact, Oscar Piastri is the fastest of the first free practice session, with a time of 1’16″545, followed by his teammate Lando Norris.

On the lowest step of the podium Carlos Sainz, at the wheel of the Williams. Completing the top 5 were George Russell (Mercedes), fourth, and Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari), who finished fifth. Much farther back is the other Rossa of Charles Leclerc, 12th, ahead of the other Mercedes of Kimi Antonelli, 13th.

Max Verstappen is seventh, behind Pierre Gasly’s Alpine. Completing the top 10 are Alexander Albon (Williams) and the two Kick Sauber cars of Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hulkenberg.
