Superbike, Bulega denies Razgatlioglu hat trick in Most

Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) wins Race 2 of the Motul Round of the Czech Republic: at Autodrom Most in the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship he beats Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) preventing the Turk from taking a hat trick in Most. At the first corner immediately after the start Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) and Xavi Vierge (Honda HRC) crashed while Jonathan Rea (Pata Maxus Yamaha) was sanctioned with a double Long Lap Penalty for irresponsible conduct.
Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) and Rea touched at the first chicane, with Bautista crashing along with Xavi Vierge (Honda HRC). In the lead Bulega ahead of Razgatlioglu, Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team) and Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team). In the first part of the race Bulega resists the pressure of Razgatlioglu who however attacks on lap 12 in turn 17. The Emilian however retaliates on the straight but Razgatlioglu surprises the leader of the standings in turn 2. ‘Bulegas’ however does not give up and coming out of the last corner burns Razgatlioglu going to take his first victory in Most.
Petrucci attacked Sam Lowes on the inside: for ‘Petrux’ it was his 17th WorldSBK podium and third third place of the weekend. Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team) finished fourth just 176 thousandths behind Petrucci and ahead of Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team). Sixth place for Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) who puts himself behind Iker Lecuona (Honda HRC).
