Novak Djokovic, new coach in Geneva ahead of Roland Garros

Novak Djokovic spoke to L’Équipe ahead of his first match in the Gonet Geneva Open. “I haven’t played much on clay. I hope to win one, to play more than one here, to improve my form before the’main goal on this surface, Roland Garros”.
The Serb is in a difficult moment: “I am not used to this kind of circumstance with two eliminations in the first round, but I knew that, maybe, this moment would come. I am proud of what I have done, but I still have the desire to win major titles, to win Grand Slam tournaments. That is why I am here playing in the Geneva tournament, because I am trying to do things right, to win more trophies”.
Chapter coach, after the’farewell to Murray: “With me will be Dusan Vemic. He is captain of the Serbian BJK Cup team, he was on my team a few years ago”.
“He is here, and he will be with me at Roland Garros – he concluded -Boris Bosnjakovic, who has been an analyst on the team and an assistant coach, will follow up with Dusan for the upcoming tournaments. And then we will see. I am in no hurry to choose, or to know whether I will have someone else by my side or not. I don̶t know. I feel good with them”.
