Roland Garros qualifiers: Errani and Brancaccio in the second round

The tennis Italian women make it two for two on the second day of qualifying at Roland Garros. Both Sara Errani and Nuria Brancaccio, in fact, earned the’access to the second round of the qualifying draw.
Errani, currently at position number 179 in the WTA rankings, pulled off an incredible comeback against German Jule Niemeier, world number 129, defeated with a final score of 0-6 7-6 6-2 after more than two hours of battle.
Brancaccio, number 187 in the WTA ranking, on the other hand, had an easy time with the Dutch Arianne Hartono, world number 183, defeated with the final score of 6-4 6-3 after one hour and ten minutes of play.
There are thus three Italian players qualified for the penultimate qualifying round of the Paris Slam. On Monday, in fact, Lucrezia Stefanini had also detached the pass for the second round, beating Frenchwoman Manon Leonard (6-4 6-3) in two sets.
