Artem Dovbyk does not armor himself at Roma: the'admission about his future

Roma soccer market: Artem Dovbyk has managed to ambient himself in the Giallorossi after a season that actually began with numerous problems, but now he has no real certainty about whether or not he will stay in the capital. He has admitted it himself, framing what may decide his future at a team for which he has already scored a season-high 17 goals anyway.
“I have a five-year contract with Roma, and I feel happy here – explained Dovbyk in an’interview for ‘Football School’ -. Now, however, a new coach will arrive, and if he says he needs me I will stay. I will also gladly do so, because I like everything here. However, if he should say that he needs a different striker, I will look for another team. I do not like to look too far ahead, and this factor will be decisive”.
Dovbyk then went deeper about his choice to move just to Roma a’summer ago: “I decided. With Girona I would play in the Champions League, but in the meantime there were also very important disposals. I felt the need for a leap in quality, there’d been an Atletico Madrid opportunity then vanished. Then I talked to West Ham, and they wanted me in Saudi Arabia. I would have gained a lot, but I wanted to stay in Europe”.
Having chosen Roma, Dovbyk had to deal with a bumpy season: “I had come here because there was Daniele De Rossi, a coach who has the same idea of offensive soccer as me. After four days he was exonerated, and Ivan Juric had a very different style, which we could not materialize from a physical point of view. Claudio Ranieri then did a huge job especially at the mental level, telling us many little things that allowed us to play differently”.
