Brenda Castillo remains at Savino del Bene Scandicci

Savino Del Bene Volleyball has announced that Brenda Castillo will again be part of the first team roster for the 2025-2026 season. A class of 1992 libero, Castillo will be facing her fourth year with our club’s jersey.

Brenda in fact played for Savino Del Bene Volleyball in the two-year period 2021-2023, winning CEV Cup and Challenge Cup, and after only one year in the ranks of Vero Volleyball, she returned to Tuscany last summer, being part of the group that ended the 2025-2026 season with qualification for the next CEV Champions League and the next FIVB World Club Championship.

An experienced and talented player, Castillo is a standout in the Dominican Republic national team, with which she has participated in three Olympics in her career.

Even last season, the Dominican player confirmed herself as one of the best in the world in the libero role, ending her A1 Series season with a 48.36 percent perfect reception rate.

Castillo expressed her enthusiasm for the continuation of her relationship with Savino Del Bene Volleyball: “Returning to wear the Savino Del Bene Volleyball jersey is a source of great pride for me. Last season was intense and exciting, and I am happy to be able to continue this journey together with an ambitious and determined group. I know that important new challenges await us, but I am ready to give my all to help the team reach its goals and give emotions to our fans“.
