Ducati, Franco Morbidelli explains where Marc Marquez makes a difference

The Ducati VR46 team centaur Franco Morbidelli in an interview with the official MotoGP website said he was impressed by brothers Marc Marquez and Alex Marquez, who are clearly making a difference compared to all the other Ducati riders engaged in the World Championship.

“We are all going fast and we are lucky to be able to see the data. But Marc and Alex are always able to reach peak performance really early in the weekend. That is the main thing I see them being able to do”. At the moment, the two Catalan brothers are dominating the world standings, with Pecco Bagnaia detached in third place.

“Everyone else is progressing step by step. It is difficult to catch up with them, but we will try. I lack a little bit of performance in some moments of the races. We need to focus on that to get back to fighting to win”.

On his personal ambitions: “There has always been a great expectation on me in terms of results. All right, I accept that. I have had years or parts of my career where I have not been able to achieve the goal that was set for me. But fortunately I have always been able to recover, and the help of the people around me has been crucial”.
