A new powerhouse for UYBA Volleyball Busto Arsizio

Through an official statement, UYBA Volley Busto Arsizio has announced the signing of center fielder Alice Torcolacci, already in the sights of the red and white club of President Giuseppe Pirola for some time, thus completing the roster for the 25/26 season.
A class of 2000, Alice Torcolacci is 184 cm tall and has matured a solid career in national championships. After her B2 debut with Team Gabicce in the 2015/2016 season, she went on to play with Teodora Ravenna, contributing to the promotion from B1 to A2. With Ravenna she played five consecutive seasons in Serie A2 until 2022, collecting more than 130 appearances and scoring more than 800 points.
Subsequently, Alice wore the jersey of Valsabbina Millenium Brescia for two A2 seasons (in 22/23 along with Jennifer Boldini and Josephine Obossa), reaching the Italian Cup final and coming close to promotion to Serie A1. In the 2024/2025 season she played for Megabox Ondulati Savio Vallefoglia in the A1 Series, consolidating her experience in the top league.
“My first sensations are very positive – said the new butterfly to the official channels of the club , I have already been in Busto Arsizio for a month or so and I am training with a first group of players from the new roster. At the e-work arena we are working well, all in the same direction. I am very happy”.
Torcolacci will reunite with Jennifer Boldini and Josephine Obossa: “Yes, and I am very pleased. Those in Brescia were very good years, I established a beautiful relationship with both of them, and I think it is an added value to have a’friendship even off the field”.
“It would be nice to repeat the incredible journey of last season: I faced UYBA as an opponent and was impressed by the strength and unity of the group: you could feel a perfect feeling between all the players. I am happy to be here, I hope to have more space compared to last season and also to contribute to the creation of the new group: I think it is a fundamental aspect and I judge positively the presence of more experienced players who will surely be able to help the many young ones in the roster” concluded the new Busto Arsizio purchase.
