Atalanta, Gian Piero Gasperini postpones talks about his future

So Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini about the renewal torment with the club expiring in 2026, ahead of tomorrow’s home match with Parma: “We need to confront each other on the objectives, the mentality that we certainly share and the problems that have emerged this year. We need a confrontation to decide the future”.
“I have a contract, this is not the time to talk about it. We play on Sunday, maybe after the game we will talk about it with the Percassi family and the ownership”, commented the Nerazzurri coach at the tennis tournament of the Bergamo Academy of Sport for Solidarity, to which he donated the Bearzot Prize.
“The greatest achievement is to be able to watch other people’s matches in the last two days seeing them chase a goal that we have achieved in advance”, Gasperini remarked after Atalanta’s fifth Champions League qualification in the last seven years.
“An extraordinary season, thanks to the players, in Europe as in the league. It’s the first time we didn’t get to play for something until the last ’closes the coach of the Bergamasque -. The bond with Bergamo is something eternal and indissoluble, then there’s football”.
