Roma, Claudio Ranieri has a wish for new coach

Claudio Ranieri spoke in a press conference ahead of Torino v Roma, the final day of Serie A. “I am focused on the match – he began -, then maybe in the following days I will think about everything that has happened to me in these days. First of all I wanted to thank the fans of the Roma, I did not expect something like this the’other night. I didn’t expect such a wonderful setting, and I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart”.
“We come close, as I have always said, until the’last second of the last game. We entered Europe, we don’t know which Europe, but we have to leave the field knowing that we gave it our all. Then there are episodes that condemn you or make you smile and I am satisfied, so we have to give it our all. I think this is of the last few championships a really good thing, because there are those who fight to win the championship, those who fight to relegate, those who fight to get into Europe, and I think this was really a very interesting championship for all Italian fans”.
“I think they will all leave for Turin. Dovbyk has been training under the supervision of doctors, physiotherapists and trainers. I think tomorrow, if all goes well, they will give him to me available to do the last training. The training was good, focused as always, with big determination from the guys. This makes me serene, because I know that we are going to face a great team that wants to do well, wants to close its championship well, plays at home. Torino has great players, a great coach, young, but very good and they will want to do well. We will have to sweat it out as everyone who wants to win what they have on the line”.
He then expressed a wish about the new coach: “I don’t think about how he will be received, I think that when he leaves the fans will be sorry, that’s what I would like”.
“I believe that of revolutions we cannot make and we should not make. If this is a team that in the return round should be first, then there’s only room for improvement. But let’s give confidence to this team” Ranieri concluded.
