Endless night, Brescia beats Trieste: Peppe Poeta "exhausted but overjoyed"

Brescia prevails over Trieste with a score of 92-88 in an endless evening at PalaRubini, which even ended in the overtime after a delay caused by an electrical blackout. However, the victory was enough for the Lombards to win not only game 4, but also the landing in the playoff semifinals. An achievement that Peppe Poeta enjoys without mincing words.
“In my opinion Trieste played a resounding series – Poeta commented after the game -We, however, played the game we wanted to play, we were able to control the pace and go to the low post in the best way. I still want to congratulate them and this beautiful crowd”.
Poeta then focused on Brescia’s key players: “The guys were fantastic. They continued to believe in our basketball and throughout the game they were great at chasing with great discipline and patience”;
“Dealing with the confusion that was there, and also all the breaks, was not easy. We, however, were good at staying focused. Now I feel exhausted but also overjoyed. My guys were really good” Poeta concluded. And Brescia can now dream big.
