Igor Tudor extols his Juventus as he awaits the'last step
Igor Tudor spoke on the eve of his Juventus team’s last championship game: “First of all, I want to congratulate Napoli on winning the Scudetto. In a championship the one who deserves it the most always wins. Tomorrow we will need head and heart as always, we must sweat until the end. Important match, but that should be prepared like all the others, focusing only on the field”.
“I never make calculations, I always focus on the daily work. Certainly the potential of this team is greater than what we see now with the standings. The boys I saw them well, focused and growing in conviction. Against Udinese I liked them a lot, in terms of maturity and the ability to control the match”.
“Since I arrived all the games have been crucial, because there were only a few to go. For me, from what I have seen, almost nothing was missed when it was needed. The team is there. My own merits? I leave it to others to comment on that, however, I think that all together we did a good job. One last step is missing though, we have to be on the ball, focused and stay inside the race for 90′. These are the important things”.
