Lando Norris mocks Charles Leclerc, his pole at Monte Carlo

With a masterpiece lap at the last second worthy of the king of Monaco Ayrton Senna, Lando Norris mocks Charles Leclerc conquering in Monte Carlo his eleventh career pole position and the second seasonal after the one in Australia beating with his McLaren of 109 thousandths the Ferrarista who instead misses the fourth pole on his home circuit. Third at 175 thousandths is the other McLaren of Oscar Piastri also ahead of a Ferrari, that of Lewis Hamilton, fourth at 428 thousandths. Fifth at 715 thousandths is Max Verstappen in the Red Bull.

In Q1, Kimi Antonelli practically ran out of time and crashed without consequences and at limited speed with his Mercedes on the outside of the port chicane and although he qualified he will not participate in Q2. Eliminated were Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto in the Alpine, Gabriel Bortoleto in the Sauber, Oliver Bearman in the Haas and Lance Stroll in the Aston Martin.

Behind Verstappen will be sixth and ninth with the Racing Bulls Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson, seventh Fernando Alonso with the Aston Martin, eighth Esteban Ocon with the Haas and tenth Alexander Albon with the Wlliams.
