MotoGP Silverstone: stunning pole of Quartararo. Bagnaia ahead of Marc Marquez

The starting grid for the MotoGP British Grand Prix has been set.

Fabio Quartararo hit his third consecutive pole position with his Yamaha, signing the new track record with a time of 1:57.233. The French centaur lined up all the Ducatis, starting with Alex Marquez (Gresini) and Pecco Bagnaia (Lenovo), both on the front row with him.

Marc Marquez, on the other hand, will start from fourth place along with Aldeguer and Miller: the Catalan rider paid for a mistake at the’last attempt and was unable to improve.

Also in the top 10 were Fabio Di Giannantonio, Luca Marini, Johan Zarco and Franco Morbidelli. Pedro Acosta disappoints: the talented KTM rider will start from 14th position.
