Milan: many sure departures but also several grievances to solve

With a disappointing season over, with much harsh contestation, Milan is already thinking about how to reorganize. There’s an appetite for revolution. They are asking for it, loudly, the fans. The first step will be the’arrival of a new ds (Tare, barring unforeseen circumstances) who will surely have a task that is not easy.

He will have to overhaul the roster, after choosing who will lead Milan next year (many names in play, including Conte’s of course). At the level of players, it will not be so easy to operate wisely. Joao Felix, Abraham, Walker and Sottil are at the end of their loans and unlikely to be seen again in a Rossoneri shirt. Farewell is also certain for Florenzi (contract expiring at the end of June).

Then many doubts. Emerson Rojal and Musah are not liked by the Rossoneri people but they have long contracts (both until June 2028). Maignan and Theo Hernandez are big question marks, as is Jovic. All, in fact, are expendable, apart from Reijnders who, instead, seems close to a resounding transfer (Manchester City is pushing for him).

Surely some tough decisions will have to be made to try to turn the red around and show up at the starting line of next season with a team that can aim to do well. Fans would also like new ownership and management but the direction taken is one’other.
