Cristiano Ronaldo closes a another chapter in his career, but the feeling is that the bye to soccer may still wait. What is certain as of Monday night, however, is that CR7 will no longer wear the Al Nassr jersey, and in all likelihood will also leave and its top league. However, the time has not yet come for his retirement from soccer.

Decisive for Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision turned out to be his Al Nassr’s knockout loss against’Al Fateh, which was decisive for his failure to land in next season’s Asian Champions League. “This chapter is closed. The story? It is still being written. Thank you all”, CR7 then sentenced on his official Instagram profile.

The’Al Nassr had tried to convince him to extend his contract further, due to expire on June 30 this’year. Clearly, after these words, there are no longer the conditions or prerequisites. However, Cristiano Ronaldo has also made it clear that he still wants to have his say in the world of soccer, and in that sense there is no shortage of options.

In fact, it is worth pointing out that Cristiano Ronaldo has reached 936 goals to his credit in official matches, and it would be strange to retire with the goal of 1,000 all in all quite within reach. That is why among the Lusitanian&#8217s thoughts would be a move to Mexico, specifically to the ranks of that Monterrey team in which friend and former longtime teammate Sergio Ramos currently plays. CR7 also aims to play the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, and certainly does not fear a new transfer away from his Madeira.
