Very bad injury for Luca Marini at Suzuka

Luca Marini crashed during the second day of testing for the Suzuka 8 Hours, which he was carrying out at the Japanese circuit after competing in the British Grand Prix, in which he placed 15th.
His team, Honda HRC Castrol, reported that Marini suffered a dislocated left hip, left knee ligament injuries, fractured sternum and left collarbone and a right pneumothorax.
The 27-year-old from Tavulia, brother of Valentino Rossi, was transferred to the local hospital and stabilized. He will remain under observation in Japan until he is deemed fit for transfer.
