Coaching waltz: Conte stalls and keeps everyone in suspense

The coaching waltz is poised to upend Serie A. So many clubs, especially top-tier ones, are about to change technical leadership. An “chaos” that will only start when Conte has decided his future.

After winning the Scudetto with Napoli, it seemed as if Conte was destined to end his adventure at the helm of the Neapolitan club and get back into the game elsewhere (Juventus in pole position). Pure Gasperini, now at the end of his long adventure at Atalanta, must be patient. Roma esteems him but is also thinking precisely of Allegri who is “blocked” by the Conte issue. Even Palladino, after ending his relationship with Fiorentina, must wait to understand the opportunities he will have after the domino effect. In short, everyone is waiting to know what Conte will do.
