Olimpia: Flaccadori warns on Hackett and values scudetto

Once again, it will be Olimpia Milano–Virtus Bologna. This time there is not the title but the pass to the finals at stake. The red-and-whites, rebounding from the good series against Trento, know perfectly well the value of the V Nere, good at sending Venice home after five, tight games.

Flaccadori, who has become a key element in Coach Messina’s rotations, is aware of the difficulties that the challenge with Virtus Bologna hides: “They have shown throughout the year that they are the favorites along with us. They are very good physically. They had a great Game 5 against Venice. It will be a very physical battle. Who will put the most heart into it, in my opinion will win the series”, his words to Leggo.

In particular, maximum attention to a player on the Vere Nere roster: “I think Daniel (Hackett, ed.) is better physically than last season and is doing great. You can see that he is hungry for wins. I think he is, to date, the key player for Virtus Bologna”.

The goal, however, remains the same as always, that is to go all the way and win the Scudetto, which, especially in Milan, is often taken for granted: “It is not taken for granted at all, on the contrary…”, the comment of Flaccadori himself.
