Fiorentina armors David De Gea: renewal until 2028

Florentin soccer club: David De Gea will be the Viola’s goalkeeper for the next three seasons as well. In fact, the 34-year-old Spaniard has accepted the contract renewal offer put on the table by the lily-livered management, which provides for his stay at the club until June 30, 2028.
The deal was in the air, but in the meantime the agreement has also arrived. Fiorentina had long been looking for a goalkeeper who would give guarantees to the team, for his part De Gea needed an’adventure that would relaunch his career after an abundantly problematic period. The marriage between the parties has therefore generated an’excellent season, as evidenced by the 11 matches out of 42 finished by the Spaniard without conceding a single goal.
Florentin’s confidence in its goalkeeper of the present and future is absolute, and proving it is the club’s intention to raise his seasonal fee by more than double. As confirmed by Daniele Pradé himself in a press conference, De Gea will in fact come to earn around 3 million euros a year after this renewal.
In the Fiorentina household, it now becomes urgent to solve another no small problem: the choice of a new coach. After Raffaele Palladino’s unexpected farewell, in fact, on the banks of the Arno there is a need to quickly identify a new figure to build for next season.
