Trapani knocked out in Game 1, Peppe Poeta exalts Brescia: "Clamorous"

Brescia beat Trapani in a spectacular Game 1 of the playoff semifinals at PalaShark, where the guests prevailed with a final result of 93-92. A result and a performance that exalted Peppe Poeta, who in the press conference praised both his own and the day’s opponents.
“I think this was our best game this year’said Poeta about Brescia. “We gave a uniquely solid performance, doing very well on offense especially in the first two quarters. That start gave us great confidence. Then in the second half we were protagonists on defense”.
“We were able to withstand the comeback of Trapani, which is a team you have to beat four or five times to win the game– added Poeta -. I can’t say how many times over the course of this year they were able to turn a bad day to their advantage, and they never gave up. We, however, were cynical and good, our performance is resounding”.
Poeta, however, warned Brescia ahead of the next challenge in Trapani: “Beating them three times will be very hard, and we know that. They are strong, deep, physical, well-coached. We, however, will try until the end, putting everything we have in our legs and inside of us”.
