Gigio Donnarumma: is he ready to change clubs after the Champions League?

If PSG won the Champions League, so much merit must be given to Gigio Donnarumma. In the final he was not particularly busy but, in so many other games (for example, in the double semi-final match with Arsenal) he was decisive.

After a complicated start, now the PSG people love him. He has won, to the tune of miracles, the respect due him. Yet, as of today, his future may not be in Paris. “I do not know if I stay”, he let it be known after the final won against Inter’Milan. Indeed, it is the pure truth.

His contract with PSG ends at the end of next season and renewal appears complicated. It has been talked about for some time but there has never been anything concrete. Gigio Donnarumma is doing well in Paris, he earns a lot (10 million euros per season) but there are many clubs ready to make madness to have him.

In pole position would be Bayern Munich. Manuel Neuer is close to 40 years old (he is a class of 1986). An heir to him is needed, a goalkeeper with class and personality. Gigio Donnarumma would be perfect. Look out for other top European clubs as well. Alisson and Thibaut Courtois, goalkeepers at Liverpool and Real Madrid, are not very young (33 years old). In short, Gigio Donnarumma, should he decide to leave Paris, would be spoiled for choice. Here, perhaps in Italy it will be difficult to find a team. The salary he demands seems out of the market for the coffers of Italian clubs.
