Max Verstappen is back to talk about what happened in the Barcelona Grand Prix and in particular the 10-second penalty for contact with George Russell.
The next day, on Instagram, the Dutchman apologized: “We opted for an exciting strategy and had a good race in Barcelona, until the Safety Car came out. Our choice of tires for the finale and some maneuvers after the Safety Car restart increased my frustration, leading me to make a maneuver that was not correct and I should not have made”.
“I always give everything on the track for the team, and emotions can sometimes take over. You win together, you lose together. See you in Montréal”, concluded Max.
