Sky Sport journalist Giovanni Bruno on the sidelines of the Sky Inclusion Days 2025 event at the microphones of Sportal.it spoke about Jannik Sinner and his adventure at Roland Garros: “Will he be able to win it? He has always adored Rafael Nadal and has never hidden it, and in the first days, when Rafa arrived on that magic court, to uncover the plaque that represented so many years of victories on clay, I must say we saw a beautiful Jannik Sinner, almost excited to see this great champion”.

“What I like about Jannik is the great respect he has for those who have gone before him– continued Bruno -I don&#8217t know if he will make it, because he is dealing with a tennis player like Alcaraz, who is really tough. But the reality is that as he plays, he is getting better and better”.

“So the more he finds that harmony, that attunement from those three missed months, the more confident we are to see him accomplish something extraordinary”.

Shortly after Paris will be Wimbledon: “It&#8217s an anomalous tournament for both Alcaraz and him. Neutral field for both? Probably yes, but it will certainly be great entertainment. We will see what happens in Queens, which is a bit of a starter. We will see if he will recover Berrettini, but most of all I am hopeful and very excited to see Sinner versus Alcaraz to face each other on the grass’grass”.
