Peppe Poeta spoke on the eve of game-3 of the scudetto semifinal in which his Brescia could close the books on Trapani: “We are happy to return to play in front of our fantastic public and to embrace them again after four consecutive games played away from Brescia”.

“We are looking forward to game-3, a very difficult game against a Trapani, who, with their backs to the wall, will take the court with aggressiveness, a lot of physicality and the will to react”; explained the Leonessa coach.

“We will have to be good and ready to equalize their tonnage and try to replicate what we accomplished in the previous two games, starting with defensive transition. It will, in fact, be important to take away their ability to score easy points on the counterattack and to run to prevent our opponents from turning on, because Trapani’s talent and potential were also seen in the games we were able to win on the road”.

“Crucial will be, moreover, to start with a balanced attack, executing our plays with discipline and without generating lost balls, which could open, precisely, their counterattacks. We will have to live Game 3 as we have approached the whole season, thinking only about the game to be played and not about the previous ones or Game 4, with lightness, enthusiasm and our desire to share the ball and help each other and that, so far, has paid off. We are aware of how important this game is, but we want to be the best version of ourselves.”
