Antonio Faravelli and his wines leave their mark on Monferrato

Antonio Faravelli, a winemaker and golfer from Montù Beccaria, in Oltrepò Pavese, is the owner of Cantine Vitea and promoter of the “Golf and Wine 1895” project. He was invited as a partner and sponsor to the event organized by Hapag Lloyd – Saimare, hosted at the historic Villa Carolina Golf Club in the hills of Monferrato.
“Sports, golf, tourism and the enhancement of territories through excellent productions: this is the direction that Piedmontese sportsmen expect to see,” said Faravelli. “The Golf and Wine 1895 project was created precisely with the aim of uniting these worlds and giving them new energy.”
Cantine Vitea, with more than 100 years of history, is one of the iconic wineries of Oltrepò Pavese. During the event, participants were able to taste and purchase several of the winery’s award-winning wines, including some historic labels that, in the past, also won over the famous composer Giacomo Puccini.
