Fabio Capello promotes Cristian Chivu as Simone Inzaghi’s heir at'Inter Milan

Fabio Capello spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport the day after the draw of the Serie A calendar: “A memory still fresh for Inter fans, who will immediately find Baroni again and perhaps they may think wrong (laughs ed.)”.

“Apart from these calendar jokes, I think the match is more complicated for Toro, because Baroni is a coach who will want to make an imprint, a bit like he did at Lazio, and the time available in the summer is always short. Chivu, on the other hand, I know him well: he is extremely intelligent and I think he will be as Inzaghi’s heir as well, starting again from the certainties that Simone has given Inter in these years. Therefore, I do not expect him to have all these problems in the start”.
